My Story

Like a lot of new parents I started sewing out of necessity, who knew a kid could tear up clothes so fast? I quickly learned the ins and outs on a one needle machine in my attic. It wasn’t long before I was designing and sewing outfits while also adding personalized monograms for my son and all of his friends. The next step was becoming an entrepreneur of a boutique gift shop called Bunker Hills Gifts, still one of the highlights of my life. I quickly realized I loved the monogramming and design aspect of the gift shop and after five years of amazing growth, I was able to sell the shop and begin a new phase in my life.

I’m a resident of the Boston, Massachusetts neighborhood of Charlestown with my husband Karson and son Barrett. I’m a graduate of Troy University where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education along with a Master’s Degree in School Administration from Cambridge College.

You’re likely to see me keeping active, as I’m an avid runner and also enjoy cycling with my family. Karson and I are both involved members of the community where we volunteer time with our son’s school, Charlestown Chamber of Commerce and the Charlestown Neighborhood Council. I have roots in Alabama and South Carolina but am proud to have called Boston my home for more than a decade, thus the name ‘Boston Belle!’

So, let’s Monogram Everything!
